My VCR/DVD combo is a Magnavox, model number MWD2205. My Television is a Zenith, model number Z19A02G. I have already tried looking through the menu, but perhaps I missed something. I have tried channels, 3, 4, and 00. I was hoping there was a way to switch it to VCR/Aux or something similar, Unfortunately my remote does not have a vcr/aux button. It is the remote that came with the television.

What about the remote that came with the VCR? Also, did you try "input?"

I didnt look up your dvd/vcr player or TV. Guessing its newish.
If you hooked up coaxial cable to anything then TV channel 3 or 4 VCR channel 3 or 4 check for a switch on the back of both that says 3/4
Otherwise check hook ups are correct. Yellow (video)
Red and White are for sound only (right and left) hope there are all 3 on the back of TV saying INPUT if there are only two (Red White)
they are probably outputs from TV to stereo.
THE TV ----- If it has AUX Inputs ? The remote will have a function either as a button or on Menu to change it. Normally it is INPUT.
In a Few cases The TV will cycle channels down to zero and then AUX.
Try DVD on a different TV that will then give you confidence on what to do exactly on your own Monitorto make it work If it works elsewhere what is different to what you have?

the TV needs to be on.....channel 3?
so does the VCR. At least that's the way mine works. Otherwise I think you end up taping a blue screen.
I think it is the VCR that is not set up properly. Do you have a VCR remote?
You may be able to find support on the manufacturers' websites.
