I'm an abortionist, someone just told me that people lying is the same as me killing fetus', is that true?

I'm worried that I will go to hell. But someone just said that other people lying is just about the same as me killing human fetus' (about 5000 to date). If this is true that my being an abortionist is exactly the same as people lying, why should I feel bad at all? Everyone lies once in a while, why do they make such a big deal over abortion?
(I've done a few later term abortions as well which were pretty gruesome, I feel especially badly about those, but now I guess I shouldn't feel so bad).

Don't worry about it - hell was invented to scare people into believing in god, and you are doing the world a favor by preventing unwanted kids from entering this world.

You are going to get hammerred for this posting. Whether it is truthful or not, this will bring out the worst in people. I am sorry for that.

I feel very strongly that abortion is wrong. Life is life. Why ending life at an early age is ok, and ending life at a later age is not is not logical to me. I feel that abortion is a sin.

And yes, sin is sin. One single sin means a person is deserving of hell. One. No matter what it is. But here's the catch. If you accept that abortion is a sin, then you are called to repent. That means stop. If you believe abortion is a sin, then you should feel bad. You should stop.

Another thought; the "just because everyone is doing it, it must be ok" logic should really be out of our lives by our early teens. I don't mean to insult you, but that is not a very mature argument or philosophy. Make your own decisions. Follow your own conscience. God will show you right from wrong; it's up to you what you do next.

Abortion is a big sin. I don't agree that lying is same as abortionist, coz it is concerned human life, while lies is a human behavior. You are same with the murderer, killing ones life without fear with god, never feel remorse for what you did.

Lying and murder are the same. Thinking about murder is also the same as committing it just like adultery. Society has gone through many changes over the years. In some cultures killing your wife and her children is legal . In American - Victorian society anything associated with sex seems to be considered worthy of punishment and almost unforgivable.

They are both sins. You are going to hell for killing that baby. That is MURDER. You should have kept your legs closed. Don't create another life and kill it. Yes, all sin is the same, but because someone else does something wronge doesn't mean you should continue doing wrong, in the end we will all have to give an account for all of the things we have done, good or bad. Murder is Murder.

This is truth: All sin separates us from the love of God. So, it only takes one sin to make us unfit for heaven (we are born in sin and we all will fall short of perfection). However, any believer who is well read on the bible (the Holy Spirit illuminates scripture), will testify to the fact that some sins are much more grievous than others.

Abortion is murder (you know that already in your heart).
A white lie cannot compare to the significance of murder. In the old testament, there were different punishments (for God's people) for different sins.

Stop what you are doing (repent). Pray that God will forgive you and that He will replace your heart of stone with a heart of flesh. Jesus is the only answer.

If your conscience is being pricked, that means that God is speaking to you. His word tells us that this may not always be the case. If you continue to turn your back on God, he will eventually quite drawing you to Him and you will be beyond hope of redemption. He says (in the book of Romans):

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

I do not share that verse with you to condemn, but to make you think and ask yourself to judge your own practices against God's holy word.

Jesus says that He will forgive any and every one of those sins listed above if we will just humble ourselves, turn to CHrist and ask him for forgiveness. Then, after we have been cleansed from our sins by Christ Himself, we need to turn from our wicked ways and follow the path of righteousness as the Holy Spirit enables us to do so.

Look....if you are worried about going to hell...it shows that you do still have a conscience...and God sent His Son, Jesus, as a ransom sacrifice, so we could be forgiven and have a chance...and yes...as weird as it may seem...bearing false witness and thou shalt not kill...are both in the Ten Commandments...so, yes, lying, cheating,..killing,..fornication...adultry,....drunkedness, etc..homosexuallity..they are all sins, and all equal..But you shouldn't think that is the easy out...you know that you have to ask God to forgive you, through His Son, Jesus,..and you will be forgiven..just like the liar will...I hope you don't get pregnant again..it is taking a toll on you mentally and physically darling...and you need to respect your self and your unborn children, more than that...and you are making God and Jesus very, very sad...but you can be forgiven for it all..

is killing a human fetus, that has a heartbeat, starts from one cell-multiplies from conception at an enourmous rate to produce a embryo, a fetus, and an infant, a sin?

in my opinion, killing your UNBORN CHILD just for the sake of "oh, no, i screwed up!" "i don't want IT!" , "I'm not ready" and the ulitmate poor response "i don't want to get FAT, or loose my good looks, and I have a CAREER!"----- is definitely a sin.

if you don't want to get pregnant, either don't have sex, or use protection to prevent it in the first place...if you an adult, and have a "Choice", then the choice is to act like an ADULT.

if you happen to conceive, but do not wish to keep the baby, then give it up for adoption. give it a chance to live, give it a life, give it to someone who otherwise wasn't as lucky as you to conceive in the first place.

but Christianity teaches, "Believing in Jesus and accepting him as your Lord and Savior, and all your sins shall be forgiven."

He died on the cross for our sins. He convinced God that Man is weak and to have Mercy.
