First of all, thanks for the answers to my other question, they helped a lot. I just told my guy friend about what's going on because he called and, so he likes me and wants to make plans to hangout later on and try to cheer me up (I'm kind of a mess right now) and I have a feeling he'll try to make a move. Should I go along with it or should I try to stay away because if my boyfriend IS breaking up with me I don't see the point in saying no. I know it sounds really soon and all that and it seems really soon to me too, but if he is breaking up with me, part of me wants to make him jealous (hehe) So what should I do if my friend makes a move? For anyone who doesn't know what my other question was, I had heard from a friend that my boyfriend told her he was going to dump me but he's on a hunting trip or something so I can't see him until Monday or talk to him until Sunday night. Thank you!

There is nothing wrong with going out with your friend. If he does make a move, then you have to decide what to do about it. I wouldn't assume that your boyfriend is breaking up with you, because it may just be that there was a misunderstanding or something like that between your friend and him.

If however, you are for some reason unhappy in your relationship with your boyfriend, ignoring the possibliity of a breakup right now, then there is no reason why you couldn't date your guy friend and be the one dumping your boyfriend, even if he doesn't want to break up with you.

I hope that helps. But do go out with your friend. If he's any friend at all, he'll have your best interests at heart and he will want to comfort you first, and possibly hit on you after :)
