I am going to be in grade 12 this summer and I am kind of scared to go to a new school. Well not exactly new, I went last year for few months and at that time I was busy in exams and other things. I talk to people but I havent made any good friends yet. I dont want to go this year because I am just scared of being "new" and I dont have alot of time to adjust with people because its matter of only one year and then I 'll have to go to university. I dont know whether to get really friendly with people or just talk to them and concentrate on my studies.
Please dont bother if you dont get what I mean to say. THANK YOU.

Just go with the flow. If new friends don't appear out of thin air just concentrate on your studies.

I would definitely concentrate on my studies but at the same time you can make friends. If you stand out at school my answering questions and getting involved people will notice you and will want to talk to you, and at the same time your learning. Don't worry about anything just relax and study hard! After all this is your last year.

Know you are not the only one there with the same problem. Also know they are usually unsure and may be looking for a friend. A friend can be forever so just be you and all will be well. You may feel like a pink elephant but no one else thinks you are and when you enter a classroom most can't even remember what you were wearing or the color of your hair, relax if you can.

Take 1 day at a time. Enjoy people even though you'll be in college in a year. The experience is valuableand good practice for when you're in college. And you may make a few friends for life in this final year. they may also go to the same college too.
Enjoy life is shorter than you'll know until you get into your forties.
Good luck study and socialise with energy. You'll never regret it.

don't worry about what people think, go to school, do your studies, be polite, and mind your own business
