I get the same problem. Only you have more self control than I do. I will buy it. But it sucks cause now I'm old enough to where they LET me buy it. How old are you? Sometimes when you've been told you can't have something for so long--say til you're 21--when you're allowed to have it, it's hard to say no. No, you're not an alcoholic, cause you only drink every once in a while. Just think of you're "anti-alkeehol". For me, it's school. Don't wanna wake up the next morning and have to go to class with a hangover. I'm almost graduated. If I feel really bad, there's no way, I can concentrate in class. So that's how I control it.

Yeah your addicted. Some say some people are genetically more affected by alcohol than others. You should stop drinking all together, or else you might become a real alcoholic, and thats the worst, when you cant stop, and everytime you get home you have to start drinking. You cant hold out forever .

Well, I didn't think it was "normal", but after reading the other responces, it may well be. I would say that you arn't addicted because you don't drink it. If you were addicted, you couldn't resist the urge to drink like you said you do. If you start drinking all the time and drink a lot when you do, you are probably addicted.

Maybe you might have a problem in the future. But if you will take care of your self you don't need worry. Check if you are not have depression. Most depression made addicted to any things.

If actually craving when you walk by or see, I suggest staying away all together. Could be a past life addiction haunting you, either way stay away from the booze to be safe.

I wouldn't worry about it, I drink like a fish...yet I have no cravings when I pass by a liquor store.

that's normal. its just the fact that a store full of booze is attractive. even for non alcoholics. i get cravings like that too when i see one, and i don't drink at all.

It's not an addiction, it's just a craving.

Its an impulsive desire like shopping or when you drive by antique store and think that you should stop in or a yard sale for instance.just blow it off you drink socially and thats good enough.
