You should make sure that you are getting enough water daily. Eat three times a day, being sure that the calories that you put in are not empty calories (i.e. sugar, fat) but instead focus more on getting in good protien. Sleeping is important, as they have now discovered that people who get less then a solid 8 hours of sleep per night will maintain a higher body fat. When you are working out at the gym, do what you are comfortable with. I personally find that the water areboics are very helpful, as the resistance helps build muscle and yet you do not feel as tired. Walking is great. Get your heart pumping, that is the key. Use every chance you have to get in a few more bits to burn the calories. Take the stairs, park a little further away, walk the dog insted of chatting on the net. Also, and for me this was the biggest hurdle, cut out your late night snacking. Sometimes when you think you are hungry you are honestly thirsty, or just restless. Good Luck, and I am sure you will get there if you put your mind to it,

1. If you have not done so recently, go see your doctor and make sure there are not other issues going on, like diabetis, thyroid problems, etc.
2. Do not buy diet pills, as all you are buying is one or more forms of caffein. If you want that and if you do not have high blood pressure, save your money and buy over the counter caffein pills at Wal-Mart. Take one on an empty stomach in the morning, just after waking.
3. About 15-20 mins after taking the caffein, go for 30 minutes on the treadmill 3 times a week. Every week, incline the treadmill x 2, until you are at an incline of 10. Incline treadmill is a great way to shed fat, as it's low intensity.
4. Take a good mutli-vitamin (Centrum, Optimum nutrition, etc) with breakfast after your cardio. Eat only whole grain carbs and make sure you get a source of protein in each meal. Slow down on processed (white) carbs. Eat 4-5 (6 if you can) small meals a day
5. Drink plenty of water. Buy a 1/2 liter bottle of water and keep it filled with tap water...unless you can afford drinking bottled water all day.
6. Stop drinking all sodas and keep sweets to a minimum. The best thing is to treat yourself once a week to curb the cravings.
7. Smile and love yourself!

Well all I can do is give you a true example. I gained 50lbs when I went on a certain medication over a 6 month period. I got my med changed because I couldn't handle being 234lbs.I quit drinking anything but water and tea, and I drank a lot of them.I walked two miles a day briskly. If I wasn't truly hungry I didn't eat. When I ate I ate smaller portions and gave my self time to feel full on them.I lost 6 lbs a month like that for the next 7 months. Walking and the gym plus a change in diet should help. good luck if you need support I'm here

um. pretty simple diet actually.
1- take your morning body weight and multiply it by 10, then round to the nearest hundred. this number is the amount of calories you should intake per day.
eg. morning body weight=125
125 x 10 = 1250
calorie intake = 1200
2-stay away from condiments, they are useless calories, use salt, pepper, and ketchup if you have to.
3-try not to use oil, or fat in your food. backed our steamed is best, less calories, less fat.
4- balance out your meals... just because your calorie counting doesnt mean you can eat 1200 calories worth of cake. balance fruit, veggies, and meat.
5- once a week its okay to have a treat. this way your body is actually working to burn off useless calories.
6- drink water instead of pop, or juice. every morning have a huge glass of water... wait 20 minutes, then eat some breakfast. make sure your always hydrated. drink LOTS of water.
to find a calorie list just look it up on yahoo or google or something. its really simple. dont forget to excersice too though. good luck!
oh. and to maintain your weight, multiply your morning body weight by 12. and try not to eat after 6pm.
=)

I think what you should do number one, is go back to the gym more often. If you go maybe 3 or 4 days a week and eat healthily you will be in good condition. I also recommend that you start to jog around your area or at a park near you.

Maybe you should start going to the gym. And you don't want to lose weight "fast." The faster you lose it, the faster you'll get it back and then some more.
You may want to find the furthest parking space and walk the rest of the way. Or take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Sup Babygirl,
Well I think that I should tell you that the simple, easiest and healthiest way to loose weight is to cut carbs and try to eat one meal aday. If you cannot do that, try to eat 2 small meals and snacking on fruits and veggies in between meals.
