Long story. there is a guy in my chorus class. i told one of my friends he was hot. (HE IS) she told him that, and he told me that i was pretty cute. we talked a lot during the next couple of days. he told me he liked me. THEN he asked out another girl!!! What gives? any ideas
p.s. he seems really nice too. and he likes the same things i do. not that that matters.

Well a guy wouldn't say you are cute if your not, but he might have been hoping to date the other girl for a while. Most likely he actually likes the other girl and has for a sometime. Just stay on top of it, if it doesn't work out, you already a step ahead.

You need to relax. Play it cool. If you make it seem that he is your world then he has all the power. If you act like its cool he will see that as a sign that you are better then him. It feels as though he can get you when ever he wants, no rush. Its the male phyc. If you want him pretend like nothing happened talk to other guys. Im not saying ignor him. Im saying be self cofident and know that the ball is in your court. All guys are doosh's, Im one and you can get any doosh bag you want.

You need to ask him what was up with that. Very inconspicuously like, "so you know.. so and so? i heard you guys are together." to try and get the story out of him.
if he's with her, it's because guys like control. especially playing around with girls

HE PROBABLY LOST RESPECT FOR YOU SINCE YOU DIDN'T SHOW HIM YOU WERE INTERESTED IN HIM YOURSELF.
IF YOU HAD TO SEND A MESSAGE THROUGH SOMEONE ELSE, I WOULDN'T RESPECT YOU EITHER.
GO TALK TO HIM YOURSELF. FLIRT WITH HIM AND COMPLIMENT HIM ON THINGS THAT YOU LIIKE ABOUT HIM.
