For example, do you think the more faith you have in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, the more likely you will be to show love towards others in a kinder, non-judgmental way? This could turn into an essay of some kind.

Through grace, God has given me life to which I am grateful. Charity is acknowledging grace and extending it to others. One could easily say through Gods charity I have been spared. Through charity one may begin to understand grace.

Maybe I don't understand, but I'm not sure your question and your example are the same. But, I think I see what you mean. Yours seems to be an intelligent question, while so many today have not been, so maybe that's why I am having trouble understanding. Anyway...

Yes, I think the more we trust, have faith and follow Jesus the more we will become like Him. The more we become like Him, the more we will love. There are passages galore about this general idea.

An interesting text is 2 Peter 2:5-8 which also indicates that the converse is also true. Read it and you will understand. The more we love, the more we know Christ.

no. being kind has nothing to do with your faith; there are plenty hateful people who wave their bibles in order to justify their hatred. there are plenty of kind people in all religions and lack thereof; an atheist, a jew, a pagan or a muslim may be just as kind as a christian.
