All of the listed knot tying tools are less than 15 bucks. I've never used one but I think its cheap enough to try out. Hope it works for you!

an easy but good knot is done by doubling line back 6 inches,,put dbl end thru eye of hook,bring end over line making an over hand knot,put end loop over hook pull tight

There are a lot of knot-tying tools out there, but I am not sure which are better (or even usable) for someone with arthritis.

I am near needing one myself, I think.
