Will Isreal be the 2nd to use Nukes?

Question

Everyone knows Isreal has nukes and as they shown in Lebanon they don't fear using force. If they "feel" threaten will Isreal use their nukes? Personally I find any country in that region with Nuclear capability a potentially dangerous situation.

u know u forget about Iran here we have group of radicals who have already threatened Israel if they get a nuke they will wipe them off the map. and yet your calling Israel bad because they have nukes already Israel has been threat end ever since they were formed and have stood up for their self's there and they are the bad guys to u why i think Israel will only use a nuke if one is used on them other that they don't need to their army kicks *** no way around that fact lol

The use of Nukes by Israel or any other country in the region will have devastating effects.

Depending on the kiloton yield, the outcry would be numbing. 500 kiloton strategic nukes would have global suicide implications, while tactical nukes will have regional implications.

Strategic nukes, at least a dozen of them in the 500 kiloton range would take out the middle east and vaporize around 190 million (3% of the world). Another 200 million in nearby countries would die from radioactive poisoning, and their only crime would be living next door to the Middle East.

Carl Sagan estimated a very low threshold for nuclear winter, a 100 kiloton blast would ignite fires that would cause a nuclear winter....ie, the sun would be blotted out due to the dust and ash from the fires and all plant life would cease to exist....followed shortly thereafter by animal life.

I think that's a reasonable assessment.

If Israel is attacked using nuclear weapons, whoever launched them gets hit back. But Israel won't be the first to use them.
