He fed the Israelites with the manna from heaven, so why can't he feed the starving people in Africa?

He has given you that you might give also, so why don't you share? Jesus showed how he uses people to help others in Matthew 14.13-21 when he fed the 5000 with 5 loaves and two fishes which were GIVEN by a little boy. , I'm an African to be specific, a Ghanaian. i know the situation here, and i don't sit and dawdle. if you can help, do so but don't go judging.

In this day and age it's not "why won't God feed the starving", it's "why won't people share, and not waste, and therefore feed the starving." It's up to people to solve this one I'm afraid, and well, we aren't doing too good of a job.

The people in Africa are not starving because of lack of food. There is plenty of food. The problem is the constant conflict and the warlords who actively intercept food shipments and either destroy the food or keep it for their armies. God helps those who help themselves. I am sorry to say that I believe the people of Africa will continue to suffer until they rise up and demand change. If the people demand change I am sure God will help them.

The bigger question is that if you don't believe in God, why are you sitting around complaining about God not feeding the starving. Why don't you go feed them yourself?

Why would God feed the world when they dont believe in him or love him? He set apart Israel as a nation to love him and THEY couldnt even do it; despite their covenant, despite the free food, despite helping them in battle, despite giving them the law, despite making them rich, despite giving them protection, despite doing miracles, despite offering them forgiveness.........
But for the people that do believe in him and love him, something much better than free food awaits them!
