well ive been hanging out and becoming really close with this guy for about seven months. i have never liked someone so much . we started off really good. wed be on the phone till 4-5am and always see eachother and kiss and hug and he was just everythin i ever wanted. But then we started to see each other less. he started hangin out with all these girls "just friends". he says he still really cares about me. I can't let go of him though. i tried it hurt too much. Im startin to feel like his side line girl. i reaized id rather have him in any way in my life then not have him at all. is that stupid??? i dont know what to do!!!!! i tried to talk to him about it but it never gets answered. I'd appreciate any kind of advice.*especially from girls who have been or are goin thru the same thing* thanx a bunch!

MEN GO THROUGH THE SAME THING.
YOU ARE GETTING THE BRUSH OFF.
FLOAT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
THAT ' HE ' EXISTS ONLY IN ---YOUR BRAIN.
LOVE IS NOT A BALL AND CHAIN.
ONLY MARRIAGE CAN BE,
ITS AN EMOTIONAL ILLNESS [NOT A NORMAL STATE OF MIND] WITH TIME .
AS ITS ONLY CURE, =UNLESS YOU FIND SOMEONE QUICKLY.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but there's a strong possibility he sees you as his best friend, and nothing more. He also might reject the idea of you two getting romantically involved, because he's afraid of compromising the relation you have right now... From what you said, it didn't strike me as a romantic relationship, but a rather deep, spiritual connection which can be the foundation of a great friendship, but not romance (especially if both of you are still pretty young -- and by your writing i'd say this is the case). He said he cares about you (meaning as a friend), not that he loves you. You're also becoming dependent/addicted to him... This may lead to great suffering for you and it may cause you serious health problems... The fact that he avoids talking about this situation with you indicates a certain level of immaturity on his side. If you start chasing him, you might scare him away from you or, if he feels you are after him, he might push you away and hurt you quite bad.
I think it would be best for you to step aside, at least for a while... This would give you the chance to see what's really going on with a cool head, to have a "reality check". You'll need a lot of strength to do this, and you'll need all the support you can get from your friends and family. Take care and try to calm yourself !

This is really hard for me to answer. Because I don't want to hurt you more. It sounds like he backed off because it was getting to serious for him. I'm sure he still feels a lot for you otherwise he wouldn't want to see you at all. But these other girls he says are just friends. Maybe you should look a little more into this. He might have more going on with them then just friendship. Some of them may even be hooked on them like you're. My advice would be to see him but start looking elsewhere. Don't just keep him, and not let other guys have a chance with you. Maybe you should start hanging out with some guys as friends and see how he responds. If he starts to get jealous. Sounds like he's just scared of his feeling for you. But if not then obviously he just doesn't want a commitment with anyone right now. So don't keep your life on hold for him. Continue to see him, you never know what may happen. But give other guys a chance. You deserve someone who will give you their full attention. And after all isn't that what you want? It's hard when you're that into someone, but sometimes, their just not with us at the right time in their lives. Which means it wasn't meant to be. So I wish you the best and don't worry things will work out!!! Whether it's with him or not. Good Luck!!!!
