I used to fly cargo, so we had some way out stuff, especially animals, tigers, elephants, dolphins, snakes, turtles, horses etc.
However when the company i worked for did passenger flights, someone paid for a dead body to be transported in the cabin sitting in a seat. So far this is the weirdest i've come across.

One of our regular customers is a professional cello player. He refuses to check his cello in fear that it might get damaged (And it probably would). So he buys his cello a seat and straps it down next to himself.
