I see nothing wrong with having religion in a private school which accepts no funding from the government. But in a public school which is mandatory for everyone to pay for, religion should either not exist or it should include ALL of the religious beliefs (in an unbiased way) of those who financially support it (impossible to do). The people who say they want religion in schools only want their particular religion in schools. Their tune changes dramatically when presented with the idea of schools forcing their children to pray to a deity they do not believe in.

Haven't you figured it out yet?
The parents are not concerned with regular education, never mind religious.
They themselves are not going to church why would the be sending their children.
So put it on the education system, I pay taxes.
Taxes take care of everything.
Sunday School, OK if the parents are going, but they are not.
The slide to destruction is here, like it or not.
OLAY!
Come on get with the program.
Parents don't give a sh**. They don't care about themselves why care abut their kids.
What is the enemy?
Keep em busy.
They won't have time to care.
They will be too concerned about surviving to pay attention to what else is happening.
WE GOT EM NOW!
I win! Wrong again naturally.
You only think you won.
You will never win you SOB.
You lost at the Cross.
If you are reading this you know who I am talking to.

I don't think you should be taught what to believe in school but I believe you should be taught ABOUT religions. They are the keys to understanding global conflicts and entire societies.
Kids should be free to practice or where symbols of their religion in school. It is their constitutional right and whoever gets offended by someone wearing a cross or a star of david has some seriously moral issues anyway. If a buddhist or a hindu wants to wear a swastika, I say let them.

I am a Christian, and I believe that school should be for learning academic material. I don't think we need to have prayer in school, or say the pledge of allegiance in school.
Christians should be religious all of the time, and school should not prevent people from being religious, neither should it cause people to be religious.
It's important for everyone's benefit, that we give people all of the information that we can, and let them make their own choices.
Articles Of Faith 1:11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

Not trying to secularize schools. But when a 12 year old is suspended for wearing a small gold cross on her blouse there is something dreadfully wrong with our cultures values.
