not as long as they are stored within the tube and the cap is properly put on. If by any means any pests or germs are able to enter the tube then thats a different case.

i would say it does eventually. do you want to use toothpaste from the 1920's? or even the 1990's for that matter. it is probably gummy now. the contents would congeal and would start to solidify. i think. this is just a guess.

You should be brushing your teeth more often than to let your tooth paste go bad or spoil anyway! But I wouldn't use it past a year after opening. Active ingredients wont be active anymore.

guess if you put the cap back on ,, then no.. but don.t you just hate those crusty hard bits, that have dried out..
