I would suggest that you get involved with activities and meet people in your new place. It will take time to get over the "loss" of your friends in the place you used to live, but it will help take your mind off it to have something else to do.

You don't have to loose your old friends just because you moved. You can call them, e-mail and chat with them. Depending on how far you moved...you can go visit them and vs. In the meantime, go out and meet new people. You might try renting a comedy or horror movie. I find that sometimes when I watch something really funny or scary it helps take my mind off of things. The pain of not being able to be with your friends will not automatically go away, but it will subside in time. I have relatives and friends in different parts of France, and Canada. I talk to them on the phone, and e-mail them all the time. We send each other pictures and let each other know what is going on. We also visit each other when we can. All I'm trying to say is that you can keep the friends you already have...you may not be able to see them the way you use to, but you can still have contact with them. Hang in there!!!
