No, it's the invention of the 18th century Sir Tupper of Ware! Whilst running about trying to catch his mighty steed, he shouted to the cook: "Cook, If I don't calm this horse, I'll be "wearing" my food; make sure you put my dinner in something tight." and thusly, said cook put a tightly wrapped lid on Sir Tupper's food; after finally getting on his horse, then later exiting to eat his food, his steed came up on his hind legs throwing Sir Tupper off; while his friends laughed tauntingly at his predicament, Sir Tupper stood up, picked up his food (still tightly wrapped) and exclaimed: "At least I'm not "Waring"(his idea of a joke)it!" and thus, Tupperware was born.

Hmmm. It depends on what you think the temperature in Hades is. If you think it is a cold place, then the Devil would have good use for Tupperware. If you think it is hot "down there", he could cook the food, but without refrigeration, no need for Tupperware!
And since I am not planning on going there and asking him...
I vote no!

Oh yes. It seals so perfectly that it makes you leave left overs in the fridge WAY too long. And then after such a long time you become indifferent to the food that is now mold, and you dread taking the lid off because it will stink really bad. So this causes you to just throw the whole container away, which cost alot of money, which makes you a wasteful person, so therefore, you're going to be living with the devil after you die. OMG!!! Don't buy it.
