I'd say about 10 to 15 miles untuned. Just don't but on any signal boosters or echo chambers, auxillary boosters are illegal and echo chambers are irritating.

P.S. On a clear day, it might be farther.

Usually the CB radios only have like 4 or 5 watts of power and it could probably have a range of 1 to 2 miles per watt, unless your CB have SSB single side band which uses around 15 watts.

With your antenna matched by using an SWR meter, you should get 3-5 miles typical. A good radio shop can tweak it a bit more without you having to add parts or a linear, and results I got were great! Boosted me to about 4-6 miles typical! :)

that depends on how busy the channel is also if it's flat or mountians ,trees and how good your radio is tuned
in to the antenna (swr) but all things considered i would say about 5-8 miles

With a typical antenna, about 10 miles. FCC rules state that any communication of greater than 50 miles is illegal.

With a linear amplifier, unlimited...just don't let the FCC catch up with you.
