could it be possible?? what if he was dressed in gothic/punk clothing but had a heart of gold.... would you look at him and smile if his eye was white as a ghost..... would you think of him as you did if he had a piercing on his lips....... does it matter what music he listens to if he listened to music at all.....

would that mean that he is judged before he is known.........

BTW..... i just described myself...... im not trying to say that im god. cause i know im not. but i feel like im one of his angels. wierd. i do dress gothic/punk.... but yet im so kind to others and have always helped those that i can reach. i may look different, but the difference in us is what makes us special, its not to be judged or frowned upon, but to be amazed at as he created us in our own unique way.

So the question is..... would you judge him before you know him if he wasnt what you expected him to be..... (white robe)vs(gothic/punk)???

actually. i dont skate. and i dont try to commit suicide. im a happy person who sees the glass as half full. i like to listen to everything from pop. rap. rock. gothic (evanescence). gospel. j-rock. soft. all kinds almost. my friends are happy to know me and say that one day, someone is going to take advantage of me. my reply was, "if he really needs help that badly to have lied and steal rather then to just ask, then let him. for what goes around comes around." my life has been blessed many times as compared to many peopel that i know. and i just feel that since i have been blessed with all this good luck, maybe i can brighten someones day so they too can be happy even if it was for just a moment.

You are right - we should not judge a person
by the way a person looks or dresses.
What matters is the character and the kindness
of the heart.
But in to days world most people judge first and
really don't look at that person. I am sure if God
would be among us today dressed as a Gothic/Punk
nobody would even try to get to know him.
My daughter-in-law has lots of tattoos and dresses
Gothic/Punk when they go out and she gets very
upset when people stare at her and make rude comments.
They don't know what a sweet and kind person she really is.
Just like you - people don't understand - just because you
dress differently than to days norm - you are still a good
person underneath. I am really impressed that you asked
this question and maybe it will help people on here to take
a second look and not be so judgmental.
May your soul be strengthened by your life experiences.

i feel like most people cant help making an 1st impression by your apperance alone. your clothing including all peircings, tatoos, or any accessories give off a message. Whether it be a gothic punk kid giving off a rebelous message or a blue eyed blonde giving off a dumb idoit message. However, its goes further to how you present yourself. In your gothic / punk clothes do you come accross as God would through your actions. I find it incredably hard to portray myself as being a blonde with a bachlors degree, but when i meet people of business i dress appropriatly, have a strong handshake and talk knowledgably about the topics at hand and people will lose that initial sterotyped stigma. I feel that if you were God you wouldnt be one of those punks skateboarding in parkign lots where u shouldnt be, or the gothic committing suicide. In general, im saying that everyone is judged before they are known to some extent because of the person's outword appearance. However its to what extent to people take that judgement. I work in fashion retail at a store that gets a diverse group of people everyday. Personally, like everyone else, i make intial judgements on people bc of the way they look. i feel like this is natural. However, I do not judge their personality bc how a person dresses is only one aspect of themselves.

I also feel that God does work through a diverse group of people. whether it be a guy like yourself doing good deeds with a different fashion sense or a preist in a church.

First of all lets understand who is God. God is an eternal power Who has created the entire universe and everything that exists in it. He just wishes that there should be and it is created. He created the sky without any pillars for its support, He created the land (soil containing sand, mud and stones) without any factory for manufacturing it, He created the oceans filled with water without any source of water, He has created human beings, animals, birds, trees, etc on this earth without any reproduction. Creating things without any source or thing is impossible for human beings hence it can be said that there is one eternal power behind the creation of all these things and that is God. So this proves that He is not one of us. But yes God is present every where and He knows each and everything about each and every creation of His.

Always remember that there is only one God and each and everything single thing (living or non living) besides Him are His creations. Creation has been created by God (its creator) but God hasn't been created. He is alone and He has no wives nor children, parents, siblings, relatives etc.

Judge God? That sounds funny. God resides in us all and through us God experiences things as we go. Hold on does this mean God is EMO? LOL JK

Have fun Peace

I would not. I take pride in being a non-judgemental person. I agree that the difference in us is what makes us special...whomever "us" may be. You bring up very valid points.

He would be a slob, like one of us.
Just a stranger on the bus -- trying to make his way home.

Nobody would call him on the phone.
Except for the Pope, maybe, from Rome.
