There is no reason for life. It's completely a fluke. A strange side effect of the creation of the Universe. I know everyone would love to believe that something called God created everything we know and love and hate, and perhaps some form of higher intelligence set in motion the creation of the Universe, but look at the world around you, we are on the verge of a global collapse of civilization. The average human mind is under the heavy influence of the all powerful corporate entities. And before the corperations it was the governments, and before them, it was religion. As far as I can tell, the purpose, or reason for life, is to acquire supreme dominance by any means necessary. Once you have achieved supreme dominance, then you begin to destroy everything in sight. In short, the reason for life is for life to destroy itself. We're almost there, just a few more decades.
