There was this girl that sat with my group of friends every day at lunch, and we became firends. I really like her and finally got hte courage to ask her out and she said yes. but then she avoided me for the rest of the day. After school three of her friends came to me and said she didnt want to tell me in person so they told me that her parents wouldnt let her date yet. She has avoided me for about three weeks now and every time i try to talk to her she says oh i have to go even though i see her ten minutes later doing nothing. Was this just her way fo saying no or is it really because her parents wont let her?

Giver time! don't act desperate or noticeable about your feeling towards her , you made your move already and made your feelings for her known to her , now lay back and relax if she really likes you she'll make some kind of move to make her feelings noticeable to you. (LAY LOW BUD!)

Well girls sometimes actually do listen to their parents. I mean from what I can tell, she wanted to go out with you, since she said yes. I mean it's not hard to say no. It's just a question, not a commitment. But well I'm sure she was talking on the phone with her mom, or even her father, and he/she told her that she can't date so young and to wait. And well believe me a girl would never risk getting in trouble for a guy. As much as she might like you, your still a guy, one of millions. So well just give her some space. I mean if she still wants to go out with you, she'll come around. She probably is trying to figure out how to get a loop hole around it, without her parents finding out. I mean I have the same problem with my girlfriend. Well except mines alot more serious. But well my girlfriend's parents don't like me at all, I did something extremely bad that I shouldn't have done. And well because of it. I have her parents call the cops on me, and me having to not talk to her anymore. So well she comes on from time to time, because we truly are in love, and we are willing to risk it for each other. But well I know that the shock of this didn't go well. She isn't supposed to have a boyfriend or me. So well I've noticed that since that one day, she's always acted weird around me, she tries to hide it, but she knows I notice it. And because of that, she doesn't sign on anymore, and only from time to time. So believe me your situation could be alot worse. So well I'm almost 100% sure it's because of her parents.

Leave her alone, nothing you do or say will change her mind. She needs think things through and figure out whether she wants to follow her parents or be a radical and not listen to them.

Just keep living your life, and try to find somebody else. If she's been ignoring you for 3 weeks, then most likely she made her point that she can't be with you. So well no point in waiting forever over one girl. Just move on man, and well if you really want to, just find a temp. girlfriend until this girl comes around and decides to take a chance.

It could very well be that her parents won't let her date and she is ashamed to admit it. I wasn't allowed to date until I was 18, then they couldn't do anything about it because I was legal. I would say just give her time and see what happens. If you see her hanging around and spending a lot of time with another guy then you know the parent thing was just a lie. Good Luck!

Aww, that mustaaa hurt to get blown off by a friggin' lame excuse.

Okay.. I think that girl is weird and she definitely doesn't deserve you. I mean, if she knew she couldn't go out with you in the first place she wouldn't have said yes. AND! To have her friends tell you that she can't go out blah blah blah makes it EXTREMELY obvious that she got cold feet and chickened out. I think it was a spur of a moment kinda thing when you asked her out and she was taken by surprise. She didn't know how to take it in so she paniced and made up a fake reason.

Find yourself another girl who WILL stand by what she says. Not change her mind and make her friends break the news to you. There's plenty of fish in the sea, you'll find someone better :)

well you shouldn't try so hard, now if the reason given was because of her parents, then go visit her parents and ask them for the OK to date, if it was her and she is playing with you little mind games then she is not worth the effort or the time, maybe she has done this to someone else at school, might wanna check into that

I think that she is confused, how old is she anyways? Don't go all gaga over her and find someone else. If you don't pay attention to her and just live life like before you met her, she might look for you if she's really interested. If she's not interested, she won't look for you. Most girls these days dont listen to what their parents tell them anyways. If she really was interested she wouldn't care what her parents said.

I think she had really liked you, but felt embarrassed by the truth that as much as she'd like to be with you, her parents are restricting her. Parents. It's definitely them. Perhaps you should meet the parents and get them more comfortable with you and then ask her out again later.

Maybe she doesn't feel that you two should see each other or maybe she doesn't want to have to lie to her parents about her relationship with you. Next time you see her ask her if she really did want to go out with you let her know that you're not going to be upset if she doesn't want to (even if you will be) .

either she's embarassed cuz her parents wont let her date, or she really just doesnt want to go out w you and didnt have the balls to say no when you asked.Either way, wont hurt to just put her on the spot and ask why shes avoiding you.

She just needs some space but if she's doing this cuz her parents won't let her date she shouldn't have said yes anyways.
