I can't quite read him. He acts like he likes me and cares about me but when he isn't around me he acts distant. Like he doesnt want to call or text me, etc. I just need to know the signs as to what he would be doing if he was in love with me, in requards to any man.

I've been in situations before when I really cared for someone, but I wasn't sure how she felt about me. I always questioned whether or not I could call her because I didn't want to try and push myself on her.
If you like him, I'd say something before it slips away or starts to become awkward

You can never tell how a guy truly is. One day he's the sweetest thing you've ever met and then the next, he's a total ***! I know, GUYS. Can't live with the, and you can't live without them. Back to you.. Have you heard of the saying, "Actions speak louder than words?" If he acts the way you say he does then maybe he feels that way. I seriously think you shouldn't take the not-calling-you-texting-you to where you're questioning his judgement and actions. If he likes you, he'll show it way better than he is now.
Love is a simple, yet complex thing. Don't rush into it! You will just know when you're in love. It's not a maybe thing.
