Unlike my classmates, I am very intellectual and I don't like getting drunk, staying out late and so on. Why is that every time I read their blogs where they write about their senseless childish occupations, rumors and petty issues, I feel somehow nervous, anxious? It is like... I am afraid of them?

Part of being who you are is realizing who you are not. Be glad you've outgrown the phase that they still must go through. There is nothing in the real world as bad as High School. Hang in there, you've already figured out most of it.

Perhaps you are afraid that you are the odd one and that you should try out their life style a little, and are losing out on such an opportunity. I however, am also a person that never goes out to drink, and I only listen to rock music, hence I do not often dance. Dancing and trinking is fun for them, but in the long run it is no inversion, and whether they want it or not, 20 years from now they won't have a single good story to tell amongst friends or to their family because after such a long time, all alcohol and party related stories lose vividness and interest, and begin to sound all just as empty. I'm not saying drinking is evil, but drinking and partying as a way of life is pointless in the longrun, if a person doesn't look for other activities to nourish his or her self. Such people that don't go the extra mile are bound to end up bored, full of regret, with a family that only cares about them ocasionally, and who utterly realize they lived in vain. Then no matter how hard they try to put down or ignore people who don't party as hard as they do today, at the end of the line, they will be alone and empty.

No, but you are different and more mature. Try not to be too judgmental, and try to have a bit of fun once in a while, even if it would be something they wouldn't enjoy like a classical music concert.
I hope you find a few true frineds who share your interests. Obviously going to parties and throwing up on other people is a waste of your time.

Maybe not so much afraid as intrigued or curious, or just scared for them if you have a big heart. If it gives you an anxiety attack though, why read it. To each their own everyone will follow there own path in life. Don't worry yours is just different then theirs doesn't mean you are weird.

I always told my children (grown now) that they were given a brain--use it. It sounds to me like you are using yours. Good for you. Try not to be intimidated by them. Maybe you can find a friend who enjoys some of the things that you do. Good Luck.

You shouldn't fear your peers. The alcohol, drugs, unprotected, under age sex, is something , you are right about, and should avoid. It's good to know that you have enough self respect and self worth, that you don't have to follow the crowd.

that's the same feeling i get when something bad is going to happen. maybe you feel like there's something bad happening to them and they don't even know it. OOOOORRRR just maybe your subconscious is afraid that if you do the things that they consider to be fun, something bad will happen to you!....either way, always pay attention to those gut feelings. they can save your life!

that is kinda like me, you might want to try being a designated driver for them, if you have your lisence, cuz you get to go out with them and see what they do and be glad your not doing it, then drive them home and then tell them you had to babysit them and make jokes about that.. that is what i did, have fun
