I was trying to build some confindence so I started talking to her. The thing is she wasn't attractive and I don't plan on seeing her again. There was actually a time when I wanted to run away. I saw these other girls and just looking at her made me mad at myself. I plan on ignore forever. Was I wrong?

You were a little bit wrong. I have to admit I've done the same thing in my early years.
At this juncture, the best thing you can do is to contact the girl, tell her very gently that it's not working out, and be done with it. DO NOT EXTEND IT LONGER THAN NECESSARY! And promise not to run any more of your "tests".
Do those things, and you'll have my forgiveness. :-)

Do you really need to ask yourself if you were wrong?Using people for anything is wrong especially for your own gains. That's just being pure selfish. Did you not think how it was going to make the girl feel when she finds out?Looks are far from being the most important thing about a person.She's probably a very sweet girl.I dearly hope you tell her as nicely as you can that you would like her as a friend only and let her down easy.Next time look and listen to your conscience before deciding to "test" someone.

Never mistreat people for thier bad looks, everyone deserves respect. I was a stud, and I not mistreated but I did respect a bit less for bad-looking girls.After I had my own weight problems and I went staright from stud to dumbass. The insult I felt then was horrific , I even went through depression. I m back to my best now, but I've learnt my lesson

Yeah! You need some confidence because you are a dork and I'm sure most people know it. Just keep looking at the other girls because that's probably as far as you'll get. Yuck! You're unattractive. I can smell it.

ok so it is kind of messed up to do that to a girl... but you didnt commit to her and the truth is no matter how many people say that you are a jerk for doing it they have all dated the confidence booster practice girls too.. so dont be too hard on yourself.... but just dont lose nice girls because u think that you are some how too good for them,,, or they are not as attractive as some other girl....

Wow. That's harsh. To her, I mean. You can't judge someone just because of their looks. Now if her personality wasn't so great, that's a different story...and I don't think you should try a "test" on someone you wouldn't want to be with, just in case...Well, you know.

people are being really hard on you, i dont think its that big of deal, yes us girls get all sensitive when people "play" with our feelings but we are also masters at overeacting
listen to the first guy, honesty is the best policy
but dont be too hard on yourself at least you didnt start a war and lie to your whole country about the reason

its men like you that make woman feel bad about themselves, why didnt you tell her the truth from the start, that was pretty much a jerky thing to do, dont you event hink about other ppls feelings? maybe consider how she feels or would feel if you told her
