Yes! I am an Air Force wife and support my husband in everything. I give our neighbors hair cuts, help sew on patches and strips, iron uniforms and when needed polish boots.
I am also an Army sister. I emailed my brother every week while in Iraq to tell him how everything was going, send pics of things that would remind him of home, and to let him know that we missed him. I also support my sister-in-law by offering help when needed and listening to her.
Unfortunately I also had to go to my brothers funeral after he was killed and I now hang his dog tags in my car.
My sister sent a box with stuffed animals and different supplies to a member of his unit to distribute over in Iraq.

I'm in the Air Force, and I really appreciate everything you guys do to help us. THANK YOU!
Even when we're not deployed, we work really hard. The past 3 weeks we have been working 10-13 hr shifts for 6 day work weeks. We don't get paid overtime or anything. We can't really complain because it's our job. I don't mind it too much, but it's hard.
My mom is a teacher and when I go home to visit I go to her classroom in my uniform and talk to the kids about military life. I also bought support our troop camo bracelets for them.
thanks for everything! A great website to help our troops is www.anysoldier.com
THUNDER- as a soldier, I do what I'm told. It's my job. What about doctors in the civilian world who make mistakes or give shots to treat people but it goes wrong and they die? What about loggers? They cut down trees, but it's their job. We are not to blame. If you want to blame someone, blame the officers who give us our orders. We don't get orders to go kill innocent people. It's not our fault that the enemy is a coward and hides out where there are innocent people who become casualties of war. That's just how it is.

um.. i have a bumper sticker on my car that says "Support Our Troops BRING THEM HOME!" If you ask me thats pretty compassionate. It's being nice to you and all American tax payers and most importantly the troops who are being killed daily. Blood for Oil. I believe we should preserve their lives for a more meaningful war. That is why I have that bumpersticker on my car.
