Don't make losing wieght your goal. Make being healthy your goal. Weight will come off as a byproduct of health.
You need to eat a balanced diet and exercise in moderation.
Eat breakfast, it's good for you and you won't be as starved later in the day. Eat until you are satisfied or maybe just a little hungry (since it takes a while for your brain to get the message that your stomach is full). Do not overeat or stuff yourself.
What you eat is very important too. Eating a lot of FRESH fruits and vegetables is a good idea, but you also need protein (meat, eggs, poultry, fish).
One thing you can do to help improve your health and lose fat is stop drinking sodas. Also cut out processed sugar as much as reasonably possible. Read labels of food you buy. Try to not buy packaged foods since they usually have some form of processed sugar in them (corn syrup usually).
Drink 8 or so glasses of water every day or more if you're still thirsty. You can put some lemon in the water to make it taste better. If you drink alcohol, cutting back can help.
When you cook, learn to use a lot of different spices other than salt (a little salt is ok but you probably don't need it). I like to use basil, curry, italian spice blends, coriander, garlic..find some you like.
Exercise is important. But you don't need 2 hours a day. 30 minutes a day is fine with a couple days a week to rest if it's intense exercise. Listen to your body. It will tell you when you need a rest. I recommend doing something you like (exercise is better for you if you're enjoying it). Maybe biking, playing tennis, basketball, running, swimming...find the things you like and mix it up. Doing the same thing all the time can wear on you joints, tendons, and ligaments causing injury. Moderate stretching is good to help you relax and become more flexible. This will also reduce injuries.
Also do some muscle toning exercise (like weight lifting) as well a cardiovascular exercise. Muscle toning will improve your appearance, reduce your chance of injury, and give you more energy. You'll feel the difference after a while.
Be disciplined and health conscious, but don't make yourself miserable or overdo it. Enjoy your life.

Sure. You could also get sick and die. But not before your hair and teeth fell out and your skin erupted in rashes.
Firstly, why do you want to get skinny? There is nothing attractive about being underweight. But there is a lot that is very unattractive and unhealthy. So scrap that as an objective.
You don't say how old you are, or how much you weigh, so it's impossible to comment on whether you need to lose weight or not, but let's assume you are slightly overweight.
If you go on the kind of diet you are describing, your body will go into 'shut down' mode, become very parsimonious in its calorie consumption, because this is part of the body's starvation routine. When you drastically reduce the number of calories you take in, the body says, "Whoops! There's a famine going on. I'd better conserve what I have in case things get worse."
Once you reach your target rate and begin normal eating, the body doesn't resume normal calorie consumption. Now it says, "Hey - there's food again. Better stock up in case there's another famine" and it packs on fat. Even on a reduced calorie diet, your body can store fat!
That's why yo-yo dieting is so harmful to your health.
If you need to lose any weight at all, do it gradually. That means no more than one pound per week. That doesn't sound like much, but it mounts up to 50 pounds per year.
And make sure you have sound nutrition. If you don't give your body milk, or some form of calcium, it will take it from your bones and teeth. Ditto other nutrients, minerals etc. Your body will cannibalize itself in order to get the nutrition it needs to keep the brain healthy and the heart functioning.
So -- don't just assume that you want to lose weight and cut out eating a healthy diet and overdo the exercise. Talk to a professional and find out exactly what your target weight should be there, and follow her recommendations in reaching and maintaining that weight.
Good luck to you.

You're better off if you eat a bigger breakfast, a medium sized lunch and then only a snack-sized dinner. The day is when you're more active (even when not exercising) and so that is when most calories are burned. Keep up the exercise (though make sure you're not overdoing it and possibly check with a doc to be totally sure what you're doing isn't causing other troubles), drink lots of water and skim milk, eat a balanced diet, and do your best to avoid caffeine and nicotine. You should be in your best shape pretty quickly.

Honey, the first thing that you should be doing is eating breakfast and lunch.
If your body doesn't have any norishment coming in it will think that it is starving and store fat, and you will have a hard time losing weight and staying healthy.
Make lunch your biggest meal of the day and that way you can burn the calories off.
Eat a light dinner and eat way before bed time.
Hope this helps.

NOT ONLY could you be thin, but you could live a long healthy life on that diet. See this site for fine points like Vit. B-12, omega-3s. You will be avoiding excess protein. Include hard fruits like nuts, seeds and beans.

Technically, yes.
However, it is probably wiser that you not skip breakfast, as it really is the most important meal of the day.
