Hun, that horse has gone beyone stinking...it's dust already.
I think the problem is that, deep down, most people do realize that the idea that life, the universe, and everything just "banged" into being is not logical. But, then, how did it happen?
Every culture we know of has had some form of worship...religion has been around ever since there were human beings advanced enough to understand the concept.
We can say "they were looking for ways to explain" such things as lightning, floods, volcanoes...and ultimately, death...and perhaps they were. Has science actually replaced God as the ultimate explanation, then? Or does logic demand an "Intelligent Designer"?
Religion across the ages has been mankind's way of reaching out to the God he instinctively seeks. Has Science replaced that God?
It may not seem "logical" or "intelligent" to you...but, for me, after having thought out the alternatives, I have accepted the Christian God.
Jesus Christ, in my humble opinion, is God's way of reaching down to mankind.
God bless you, and may you find what you are searching for.

There truly isn't something you're able to do to alter that different than for protecting the already open recommendations which you have open, and perchance assembly extra human beings. there are a style of theists accessible. you have probable basically been around the incorrect types for too long. Coming to this website probable does not help plenty. Haha. basically ignore approximately those that declare you to be something you at the instant are not. i won't be in a position to bear in mind a single time that i've got seen a query or answer of yours that grew to become into something close to hateful, and that i glance at a solid form of your questions. I heavily doubt -you recognize who- will substitute their recommendations approximately you, so there truly isn't a reason so which you are able to objective. some human beings are basically like that.

But we just don't have the TIME for that: it will take me weeks and hundreds of pages to answer your question. I can refer you to some sources, though:
1. The Case for God - Peter S Williams
2. The Case for Christ - Lee Strobel
3. Science and Evolution - Charles Colson & Nancy Pearcy
4. Until the Sun Dies - Robert Jastrow
5. Theism, Atheism, and Big Bang Cosmology - William Lane Craig and Quentin Smith.
6 Darwin's Black Box : The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution - Michel J. Behe.
7. Evolution: A Theory in Crisis - Michael Denton
There are many more, but I think these would do for now.
You have found flaws in the Bible? There are defects and /or faults? How interesting!! I don't suppose it was discrepancies, you wanted to say?

no...i have no proof for you. i don't think i really have to defend my religion's credibility. it's a belief that has survived for a couple thousand years with people questioning away. so, question, but i can't answer these things for you. i don't think anyone else really can either. you're not asking the right person. look, i know this sounds cheesy, but ask God. you've played around with this stuff, reading the bible and stuff so you must have some shred of belief. enough to spark a curiosity, anyway. i'm not saying he's gonna come down and talk to you, or give you some kind of irrefutable proof. faith is a big part of it, i'm not gonna lie to you. take little steps with it if that's easier. but faith, itself, isn't difficult for most people. i have faith my husband isn't screwing another woman. faith in God is a little harder. just give it a try. you won't know unless you try.

It is impossible because your mind has already been made up. There are volumes of books on the subject matter you speak of. Even this post will be dismissed as will all other posts that are not in agreement with what you already had concluded.

I haven't found a true instance of lack of logic in the Bible. With some research, all of it makes sense and is coherent. However, if you want an answer, IM me on AIM at jonjames1986, I'll answer your questions and objections.

The existance of God is not debatable. And, NO man can prove God exists. God gives one the insight into himself when you seek HIM with all your heart, soul and mind. Anything less than that and you may never come to have a relationship with God.

It's good to see that you are intelligent enough not to accept anything you read as undeniable fact. Don't argue with religious people, they just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Their only argument is to have faith, yet I follow nothing blindly.

ever notice that when you do debate over religion, with a religious person, they can never actually give valid reasons? Thats because it is a fairytale, it has no facts. you cant argue without evidence, and religion has none. "that which can be accepted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence." faith, is simply ignorance.
