Partly depends on your age, which we don't know.
As you get a little older, you may well look back and be grateful that your parents tried to protect you from that big, bad, evil world out there. I know that's not the answer you want, but your parents do have more experience than you, and I am sure they are motivated by love.
If you want more freedom, start by showing you are responsible by obeying their rules. Only then will you stand a chance of their loosening up.

At twelve you should follow the rules of the house in which you live, if you wish to be independent pay for your own rent, food, clothes and so on, if you can manage that then your old enough to dictate how your life should be. Until such time, be thankful that your parents care enough about you to guide you. There are many children in this world who wish to be as safe and happy as you could be in your parents home. Orphans who have to fend for themselves, for food and water.; some younger than you; would you give up your parent's home for a life of an orphan, then thank your parents, your grandparent and all the people in your history who look out for you.
Those who tell you to go it your own, have no love for you, only your parents do. Show them your appreciation.
"Honor thy mother and thy father, that thy days may be long in the land, which the Lord thy GOD giveth thee."

wait until college.
then, GO INSANE. do all the stuff you were never allowed to do, but try being responsible. if your parents find out, tell them to fvck off and that they made you this way--too over protective. my parents were (are) the same way. just wait...don't do anything stupid until you get to college.
oh and make a couple trustworthy friends first so that they can drive you home when you are wrecked and stoned. of course for thier friendship too, but you want responsible friends.

Judging from the way you type, you are a young child. You should listen to what your parents tell you because they know what is best for you.
