The end of the world?

so the Maya think it's going to happen on December of 2012, and the christians, muslims and jews seem to think its coming up too .. in all honesty and seriousness, do you think the world is ending? why/why not? and if it is ending, how do you think it'll happen? will you try to stop the end or will you just enjoy your time here?

I think the world as we know it today will end. But I think it will be changed into a world that is more like it should have been.
I think that once we start reflecting how the world is now, we wish things were different-- no more rat race, no more big business and striving for paper currency, no more putting children through the trunstiles of godless schools.

Increasing violent disturbances on land, at sea, and in the air; earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, windstorms, cloudbursts, breaking of dams, overflowing of streams and seas, huge tidal waves, floods, unusual "accidents" taking many lives, famines, epidemics, destruction, destitution, failure of crops, water and crops will change, becoming more" polluted" and less nourishing. Revolutions, downfall of governments, dissensions, wars, confusion in high places, lack of respect for authority, treachery, corruption, brutalities, atrocities. Breakdown of family life, immorality, adultery, infidelity, promiscuity, perversion and violence of youth, disobedience, lack of values, indecent nakedness of dress, countless sins and iniquities, people concerned only with eating, drinking, dancing, and pleasures. Flaunting of Church laws, irreverence and immodesty in church, lack of attendance at Church, neglect of holy conduct on Sundays, neglect of the sacraments, sinful pride in sham-religious activities, many "religious" will fall away and take souls with them, enemies, persecution, suppression of the Church will increase and there will be many martyrs. Lack of charity, heartlessness, indifference, and lack of concern for our neighbor, people turning against each other, even in the bosom of the family, people proud in their own knowledge, and turning away from God.

There will be NO light, but TOTAL BLACKNESS, utter dark will envelop the entire earth. This will come suddenly like a flash!

NOT A SINGLE DEMON WILL BE LEFT IN HELL. Hell will be emptied and EVERY evil spirit will be released to roam over the earth and do all possible harm to souls. The evil ones will appear in the most frightening forms and will fill the air with pestilence and poisonous gases, there will be "TERRIFYING APPARITIONS." Many will die from fear and despair, the wicked people will behold the Divine Heart of Our Lord.

After the three days of chastisement are over, there will be no UNGODLY PERSONS left, the godless will be annihilated. Seventy-five percent of humanity will be destroyed, more men than women.

Everyone left on earth will believe in God with all their hearts.

The devastation will be astonishingly great, but the earth will be purified. The spiritual fervor of the early Christians will return, but there will be so few men left on earth. When all seems lost, then in a twinkling, all will be saved, the sun will shine again and it will be as springtime, all fair and beautiful. The Holy Angels will descend from Heaven and spread the spirit of peace over the earth, and the just will be able to start life anew.

Some nations will disappear entirely, and the face of the earth will be changed. There will be NO MORE BIG BUSINESS, huge factories and assembly lines which sap men's souls and moralities. People will return to the land.

Our Holy Church will rise again, and religious communities will flower. A feeling of immeasurable gratitude will possess the hearts of those who survive this terrible ordeal and, upon the return of light, ALL SHOULD KNEEL DOWN IMMEDIATELY AND GIVE THANKS TO THE HOLY TRINITY FOR THEIR PROTECTION, AND BLESS GOD.

Then will follow the era of peace as promised by the Blessed Virgin at Fatima.

The time to pray is NOW make sacrifices for sinners, prepare,
PENANCE! PENANCE! PENANCE!

The end of the world or end of the system, really means the end of the system as we know it, under Satan's rule and human governments.

2Peter 3:13 But there are a new heavens (government) and a new earth that we are awaiting, and in these righteousness is to dwell.

Jesus is coming soon, in the Sign of the Son of Man and judge Christians first, and bring to nothing the apostasy; false Christians, 1 Thessalonians 2:1-10.

No one can stop any prophecy from coming true.

We can't stop the end from coming.We can only hope and pray and get ready for it, whether it comes in our lifetime or not.

We have a soul and it lives forever, in hell or in heaven, it's up to our decision between good and evil. If the world as we know it ends, then let's not get so attached to it and pray that we can be there when the world changes and becomes the place that God wants it to be.

We had our chance and history proves that we can't make a decent world, we need God to help us make it the way it should be.

This world/earth will never end. The Bible says that this flesh age of man will end and then YHVH God The Father will renew this earth. Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 is what Jesus says it will be like in the last days. Jesus does tell us the season, but no man knows the hour.

No the end of the world is not coming in your lifetime. It would have ended already. You are just young and innocent and scared of all you are seeing and hearing on the news. They are in the business of providing news and if they don't have anything new they re-work all the old stuff to the detriment of people like yourself.

Hit the books and get on with your life,,.the world needs good and intelligent people and the proof is in your question.

Yes and no.
The global warming will kill millions of people and destroy lots of countries.
I saw a map from the nasa, and the east of united states will go underwater (almost the half on U.S.A)
And europe will be only islands etc....

Is the ending of this world and a start for a new world where the people is getting united to help other people

I think that it may be soon that jesus christ is going to come down and get all of there children, but we have no idea when that is going to happen. Also 7 years after god comes and get his people he is going to come down and rule the earth for 1000 years, and after the 1000 years that is when he is going to end the world, buy fire.

hell, i can't wait!!! the end to this mess, this madness. i'm gonna have a big foam hat, like those cheesehead hat things, only in the shape of a cross or something. and a little pennant on a stick with the Jesus fish on it. i'm gonna put on a white robe and sandals and wear a long Jesus-y wig, and paint my face in angelic colors. then i'm gonna plop a lawn chair (one of those cheap aluminum ones with the multi-colored nylon weaving) on my front lawn and eat a hot dog, a soft pretzel, maybe some nachos, have a coke, maybe a beer, and watch the show.

i don't know when that's going to happen. i believe it will but it could be centuries, millennia away, or...it could happen tomorrow. who knows? yeah, the bible gives signs, but really it could be thousands of years in between those. we're not supposed to know.

The world will end when it ends...we will have no warning...it will be a poof! Why worry about such nonsense. No one knows anything about it. For as long as I have lived, someone, somewhere, has been saying the world is ending tomorrow...and of course, it goes on. IT will end when our sun goes Supernova..and that is not expected to happen for billions of years. Good luck
