I shall tell you a truth. I once stared at the Sun to see who was pushing it. I saw nothing.
BUT...
When I looked away, THERE WERE SQUIGGLY LINES AND BLOBS BEFORE MY OWN VERY EYES!!!!!!
Now, it that wasn't the FSM(pbuhna)then I don't know WHAT it was...so it must have been The Great One of many Appendages!!!
Don't try and fool me with your fancy "scientific" mumbo jumbo, because you won't fool me...I SAW it, so there! There were Meatballs and everything!
How much more proof could you POSSIBLY need, for Parmesan's sake!!???
sheesh!

I think that both of them follow the same thought line.
God created the universe so He is the reason why the sun comes up. There was light in the first day ( 1:3 ) so the sun is not the only source of the light in the universe. He wanted us to see more light.

God created the universe, and God created the illusion of the sun coming "up." This is an illusion, of course, because it stays in place while the Earth spins on its axis. God controls that. God controls everything, even the tiniest grain of sand.
No, there isn't a difference.

Many people like yourself are asking if God does exist. The truth is your question is asked by many and the answer you seek will leave with no gratitude. Any answer you get as a means for spirtual guidence will also lead towards the same feeling. If you believe God exists then that's your answer. To conclude this answer, God are one and the same from a spiritual point of view and that's all that matters.

Simply stated: No.
If God created the universe, then it follows that God is why the sun comes up.
