~Brushed it as while blow drying. Use a round brush with a metal barrel designed for this purpose. This tends to take quite a bit of time, especially if you have thick or long hair.

~Put it up in a bun while it is wet and do not take it down until it is dry. If it is still a bit wavy, use a blow dryer/curling iron to finish the job.

~I've found that ceramic flat irons designed specifically for straightening hair work best. The can be pricey.....but they are well worth the investment. Make sure it is ceramic...the heat is more evenly distributed and is much less likely to damage your hair. My hair often feels sleek, soft, and smooth when I use this method.

~Be sure to use the right hair products. Talk to a beauty professional, they may be able to help you decide what is good for your hair type. One product line that I happen to like is Sleek Look by Matrix.

There is an alternative to harsh straighteners that damage your hair. Get a mild permanent. Apply the permanent solution to your hair without rollers. Take a large toothed comb and comb the solution through your hair. Keep combing it through gently for the amount of time recommended on the box for a regular permanent. Then put on the neutralizer as recommended by the directions. You will end up with straight hair without the damage caused by harsh straighteners. It really does work. My daughter has done it for years without damage. Be sure to condition it well afterwards.

are you saying without a straighting iron? or chemicals,
you can go to a salon, and it's almost the same as getting a perm, only it straightens it instead of curling it. there are shampoos and stuff out there that help too

What works for me is if you just brush your hair out and then hold the hairdryer over your head and keep brushing it and it will work. And probably put some dee frizz in your hair before you do it. thats what I do! hope it helps!
