Since the beggining that mankind can record, everybody always believed thier religion was the correct one. What makes the christians any different. And to the christians who answer, I mean no disrespect. But why do you conjecture your truth is better than any of the religions of old with the same beliefs. You know, worship who they consider to be the incarnate of GOD(or you can call him the son of GOD for arguments sake). And please don't give me this GOD is the father routine please. Because to this belief we are made in GOD's image, but what about the true fathers of the earth that had one GOD. Abraham(pbuh) for example. Who his GOD promised his sons shall be many as the stars in the heavens. And he was not a jew in truth. I would rather look to him as the father and monotheistic believers to the lord GOD of israel(pbuh) as the sons. With one GOD. And please don't take it as I am saying or implying jews are the truth. Because they were supposed to believe in jesus and muhammad(pbuh).

When people say GOD, do they mean Jesus, The Father, Jehova, Yaweh, or Allah? If all are the same, then why so much contraversy. Or is it all because of money and land?HHHMMM

I think that your are commenting more on personalitys of mankind than spirituallity itself. Religion is not at fault but how people respond to their religion can be. I am sorry if you have had bad experiences with christians...I have too...but I refuse to allow someones short comings to affect my core beliefs.

There is a great deal of evidence for Christianity. The existence of Jesus is proved outside of the Bible by historians such as Josephus. Jesus was prophesied about by Isaiah several hundred years before Jesus lived (Isaiah 53). Jesus' own brothers believed he was God (James and Jude were His brothers and each has a book in the Bible). The apostles of Jesus died miserable deaths because they would not deny that they had seen the risen Christ. Many die for what they believe to be true, but no one dies for what they know to be a lie. The historical evidence is overwhelming. I suggest the book "Not Enough Faith to be an Atheist" by Dr. Norman Geisler and Frank Turek. If you are a Christian, then you can not except any thing else as truth because you believe with all your heart that Jesus is Lord and the only way to salvation. To say that you are a Christian but other religions may be true, would mean that you do not truly believe with all of your heart in Christ. That is why Christians come across as close minded. Once you become a Christian, a personal relationship with God develops where you see Him move in your life and you come to know Him better. Keep asking questions and seeking the truth, and if you truly desire to know God, he will reveal Himself to you. I promise. God Bless!

I think there are people in every religion that think that they are right and the rest of the world is wrong. Many religions, by nature, reinforce these beliefs.
I am a Christian and I do believe that Jesus is the only way. I am not speaking in arrogance or haughtiness. I believe this because it has been made evident in my life. I would be dead at my own hands if there had not been some miraculous intervention in my life.
With that being said, I don't think that Christians have any right to judge other people, tell them they are going to hell, or to think that they are better than the rest of the world. We are all the same.... Exactly the same as far as being stuck in a world that is horrible.
We do what we have to do to get by and some people don't have the things that they need to make it.

Very inciteful indeed. Not many know that Abraham was not Jewish. Actually the Jews were to be the ones that would proclaim the truth to the world, to be the priests that would carry the Gospel to all the world and be the mouthpiece, so to say of God. Since they did not take the job seriously and rejected Jesus, they were scattered. That has caused widespread confusion in many ways and had many think they had the only answer to God. In reality the only true way is to read the bible as it is the guidebook to truth. No truth of man can be called truth but only the truth of the bible, the Word of God.

Being a Christian in all honesty there is little i can do to answer your question. That may come as a shock but I think that might be the point. I think there is a certain level of faith that must be taken into account. Of course, what religion doesn't have faith? In my reading of the New Testament, I find Jesus' teaching and words to be especially profound in my life and the lives of others. I have read how Mohammed's teaching begins to become beliggerent as he ages (I mean no offense by this, I'm no professor of Islam, maybe I'm wrong even but this is what i've concluded) and that Jesus is the saviour the Jewish race is looking for. I could try and cite all of the prophesies and whatnot of Jesus' legitimacy (The BOok of Isaiah, Daniel, etc.) but once again it comes back to faith. Also, I think it was the theologian George MacDonald who said "Truth is truth whether it be from Jesus or Balal." or something like that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no material proof that can be revealed, you have to find it for yourself.

There is only one God as it is believed by Muslim and
Christian alike.
Isn't amazing that humans will believe such parochial nonsense as you don't believe in the one God the way I do so now you will be ridiculed and/or murdered.
When man gets over acting like children in a playground , only then will he find true pureness of faith and soul.
God will continue to send the messengers to test whether we can practice what we preach.
Remember Jobe.

If there is any kind of God he must have a continual relationship since the beginning and be represented in a faith that is universally available with ancient links. Only Christianity is both ancient and connected to the beginning and universal now.

You seem to be like lots of other people. Doing it the way YOU want. You can't do it the way you want just because it suits you. God told us in his book how we should live. He also gave you a free will. Do with it as you want, but it is probably not right. And what does(pbuh) mean. Some of us don't understand your abbreviations.

Don't you think there can be only one God? If there were other gods, did one create all, do any gods disagree in concept, who's offering what--it would be as now, confusing. For me, Christianity has the whole package. (#1 ans.left out love thy neighbor, sorry)
