i absolutely love being single :) i dont know if i can ever settle down...does anyone eles feel that way? like we have to have our space and freedom all the time?

Yeah i like being single too. I'm quite an independant girl so i don't like feeling tied down or being controlled/expected to do things for someone else. I love having freedom and space and doing things i want when i can b/c when i get older i'll be more ready for commited relationships instead of some ppl who stay in pointless relationships and waste the time they have when they're young. Your only young once i think you need to enjoy it while you can without getting too serious, that stuff comes later. Why would you want to settle down when you're young, it's boring!!!!!!!!! ;)

ME -- I love being single. I like going to work, coming back to my own home that I just live in, not having to placate another nasty person and just having the freedom to choose what TV show I want to watch, to go to the library when I want - to travel if I choose to, and to know I don't have to share my hard-earned space with anyone else.

its a wonderful feeling 2 be free.. one less egg 2 fry and no more stinky donut socks 2 wash.. marriage takes a lot of work.. i had a very good husband too. but the beat of the jungle drums was 2 strong.. was the grass greener on the other side ? nooo .. but being single works 4 me.. just don't like sharing my pillow.. hahaha

I was married........had 3 kids and 2 grandbabies.....got an education.......have a great, well-paying job....come and go as I please....and enjoy my life. However, I would not have wanted to have my whole life being single........nothing can compare to children and grandbabies! Perhaps you are leading yourself down the garden path because you do not have anyone.....you are "pretending" you "love being single"..think about it!

I enjoy it, sometimes. Sometimes though, and I am being honest with myself, I think it would be nice to have someone in my life to share things with.
I think it is fantastic that you are okay with this all the time - everyone has their own needs and it is empowering to see folks like you doing what works for them and not doing what "society" feels they should do.

I love it most of the time.......but then again I am 15, and have alot going for me right now. Just being a teenager is great.

eh.single life is great for a while.
but i've been single for almost 3 years now..and it gets lonely after awhile.
yeah its great having flings..no strings attached..complete freedom..
but after awhile it gets lonely..
