Is it permanatley closed or closed for renovation?

Closed. I passed by there a few weeks ago and they were trying to lease the place, so I would say permanently.

They closed about a year ago. Try Chelsea Brewing Company on 18th and the Hudson River.

i think their shut down, there website doesnt even work, i guess you could try going they're
