It is sad that this question needs to be asked. In the other hand there is nothing wrong with asking it from the learning point, and as it reflects a fundamentally negative understanding or the character of Jesus.
Jesus is peaceful, loving, and merciful. God takes no pleasure in sending anyone to hell, but it is made very clear that cruelty toward children is not accepted and the Kingdom of Heaven is for Children and for anyone like them.
Jesus took little children to His arms, and put His hands on them and blessed them. Jesus said " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them " ( Matt 19:14 )
God requires more from us when we start to reach that age when we begin to understand what is right and wrong. Babies and children are welcome to the Father's House as they are. No babies and children who have died are reserved for something far better than we can ever comprehend. Children are His joy.

You take these verses completely out of context and use them as a means to stir up hatred and disenssion among believers and non-believers. What are you trying to accomplish? Have you read the bible or are you using a concordance to find words like rape and kill and then randomly picking verses? In this verse Jesus is referring to the Pharisees that were using God as an excuse to avoid helping their families. They were of the mindset that it was more important to put money in the temple treasury than to help their needy parents, although God's law specifically says honor your father and mother (Exodus 20:12) and to care for those in need (Lev 25:35-43) He was saying we should give our time and money to God but never use God as an excuse to neglect our responsibilities.
EDIT: FYI to Jim Darwin, in Mark 7:26 this woman is described as a Greek born in Syrian Phoenincia. "Dog" was a term Jews applied to Gentiles in that time because Jews considered Gentiles about as likely to receive God's blessings as dogs. He was not degrading the woman, He was using the Jews termonology to contrast His own attitude.

He was pointing out their hypocrisy. Read the context around it.
Even in the OT, it was not a light matter or advocacy of child abuse. It was a warning to them that failure to teach their children to respect authority was a very serious matter. No parent would want to bring a child to the congregation and say, "I failed this child so much that they are not fit to live in society."
It's not a matter of a child "talking back." It's being a destructive member of society. Again, context.

He was not advocating killing children. He was quoteing Moses to make a point to teachers of his day about how they had twisted the words to fit their own view.

Jesus is calling out the religious authority at that time. He's showing them that they have placed their religious traditions ahead of actually doing what God commands. He's explaining to them the ridiculousness of their acts and judgement. Read the passage starting from verse one and read past verse ten. The fact that it's taken out of context is what is causing confusion.

Jesus loved children period. He always accepted and blessed the children. Accusing Jesus of anything else is quite sick.

No, of course not, dont take that verse out of context, read the entire passage.
The most important thing about interpreting the Bible is context, many will take the Bible out of context and "Choke it" and or force it to fit into what ever they want to make it "fit" into what ever point of view they want.
