Dress just like you would if you were going for a job interview. The truth is, they don't care how you're dressed. They just want to get a read on you, try to determine if you're safe to be around children (not a pedophile, child molester, etc.) and to get your basic information so they can run a background check on you.

A suit would be appropriate. If you need to mix and match because you don't own a suit; then just make sure that you're well groomed and color coordinated from head to toe; no earrings if you're male; no huge earrings if your female; don't chew gum during the interview; make sure that you write down all of the questions that you need answered in advance (it makes it look like you came prepared); no cologne or perfume (some people are allergic); and eye contact is very important while being interviewed. Good Luck on the interview!

Comfortable normal clothes. Most hospitals especially childrens hospitals and doctors are trying to make the children feel more comfortable with the people they come in contact with. In your interview they will want to know how you will fit in with the job and the children.

something a bit professional but not totally jackie kennedy-onassis. if it's hot do a polo and some capris that arent stained or wrinkled. if it's cold then a nice clean pair of jeans are fine, or you could do khaki's. don't wear anything see through, ripped, too baggy, too tight, or something you'd wear to paint your neighbor's fence. you should wear covered shoes like sneakers or ballet flats. don't look like you're clubbing and you don't have you wear a suit either. good luck with your interview!

Something conservative and approachable. Try not to wear too much make-up and look clean cut. Don't wear a lot of perfume or a strong perfume. Be yourself personality wise and be polite! Good Luck.

Wear a nice comfortable suit that make you appear friendly and approachable. They will dictate the dress once you are on board, but respecting them with proper dress to begin with is always the prudent approach.
