You might not like this answer, but:

1. Either she really is totally a lesbian, in which case your efforts would obviously be better spent elsewhere, or

2. This lesbian thing is her way of keeping a safety net between the two of you, in which case you should find somebody less silly, dishonest, and trifling.

Sorry, but if you're in your mid twenties like I am you should be keeping your options open and seeing what the whole world has to offer. The time you spent with this girl keeping you at arms length for whatever reason is time you could have been running into a really great girl who would love to be with you. Who knows? Maybe if you stopped playing along her tune might change and (surprise surprise) she won't be as much of a lesbian as she thought.......

Firstly, always remember that she is a lesbian and her propensity to prefer women is not going to change. Even if you two began dating - if she met a girl she really wanted a relationship with - she would be gone in an instant citing that you knew when you got into it that she was a lesbian.

Good luck.

You're just a guy who gets off thinking about 2 women together; you can't force what's not meant to be unless she's bisexual and goes both ways; either way, just keep her as a friend!
