Can we exsist in the living and non-living world? Is this possible, if so how is it possible? What does the sword mean?

Yes, it is possible. You are already in eternity because eternity is the fulfilment of time. It is past, present, and future all at once. Kind of strange to think about, I guess. In my opinion though, prayer is like our connection to eternity and helps give us a better perspective than we would have caught up in the spiderwebs of the present.

That part of you that thinks/observes/etc is eternal so it can exist in many dimensions. You can take it now and go to the non-physical world, i.e., out-of-body. You can also get to the state of being called heaven through meditation.

The Bible does not leave room for an in-between. There is life, and there is the afterlife (heaven and hell).
