The pollen can survive for really long time. There are several foosills with pollen in that. But the viablility of them needs to be confirmed

Pollen lasts for a long time. Usually it is blown arround in the wind from the time that a certain plant produces it to the time rain washes it away.
There are certain times of the year when certain types of pollen are found in the air at higher levels.
Find out what kind of pollen you are allergic to and then look up the sources (oak trees, grass, ect...) and you can find out what times of the year those levels are higher.

For some, a very long time. Archealogical studies use pollen found at various sites to determine plants growing there at the time of the layer investigated. Those go back thousands of years.
