ILLEGAL immigration, that immigration which is taking place in violation of standing laws, should be stopped 100%. LEGAL immigration, people seeking to work and live within the United States and doing so legally, that should be encouraged, but also regulated and monitored. The law is the law, and enforcing it fairly and effectively is part of keeping it a prominent factor in society. When we decide that we don't want to follow the law, it sets a bad example for newcomers, and what's worse it paves a path for those who make it their business to do business outside the law. And, that's where the border has been a criminal's playground for years, decades even. In the interest of the general welfare of both Mexican and American people, illegal immigration should be stopped.

About Five Years
We LOVE Our Immigrants
But ILLEGAL ALIENS Are Destroying Our Economy And Infrastructure
We MUST Get A Handle On It
Until We Do
ALL Immigration Must Stop

YES, I would stop all immigration and I would completely stop all illegal alien entry and deport all illegal aliens and their children, born here or not.
Then, after that is accomplished, I would take a look at legal immigration.
This to save America.... As America goes, strong or weak, keep freedoms or lose them, so will follow the rest of the world.
Most foreigners don't have any concept of what America is truly like. The Left and Islamo-fascism has poisoned their minds.

As one Texas resident to another - it would be great if we could stop all the illegals from crossing over. Soon, they'll have to change the name of Texas to something like Little Mexico. Send all the illegals back and watch the crime rate in the Lone Star State go down!!

Yes. It should be very easy to come into this country to work, but we should know who's here at any given time. I'm not saying stop immigration, immigrants are vital to our economy, but they should have to register.

If I could, I would. There are processes in place for immigrants that want to come to the U.S. legally. I have no quarrels with these people. It's the ones who think they have a RIGHT to be in our country without going through those processes that I have a problem with.

Yes I would want illegal immigrants stopped.
Legal immigrants are educated and an asset to America. They want to be Americans and take the time to immigrate here LEGALLY.
Secure our borders and don't give automatic amnesty to illegal aliens that broke Federal law. Our representatives do not need to be so politically correct on illegal aliens. It's okay, enforce our laws.

ABSOLUTELY!
I believe ALL illegals and their children, even anchor babies, should be deported immediately upon discovery and repeat offenders should be jailed and then deported. And when deporting to Mexico, deport to the furthest, most southern area of Mexico, not just to the US/Mexican border. Make it much more difficult for them to try to return. Any money on them at the time of discovery should be confiscated and used towards the cost of deportations.
