With all due respect, a Master of Business Administration degree (and I have one) doesn't necessarily mean that you can do a decent MIG weld, install a 7200 volt line, repair a jet engine, or even turn a nut on a bolt., Same for a PhD, in fact some of them have almost no technical skills at all.

But be careful not to generalize. Some people will surprise you.
