Lake Placid, NY - great fall colors, has a small lake you can walk around, quaint small town, beautiful scenery, in the Adirondack State Park where small towns and fun excursions are in abundance. Visit ww.Iloveny.com

Ventura, California is an astonishing place for an extremely low-key getaway. it truly is not too close to the craziness of l. a.. It has small city charm, yet there are various stuff to do and notice. they have sea coast front lodges and the climate may well be suited for that this weekend. it truly is an astonishing place to stroll around while you're interior the downtown section. you will possibly desire to journey a splash of the nightlife with a barhopping date and then walk back to your inn.
