Hire a private investigator. You could always do the legwork yourself, and it seems that you are trying to do so, but it's a lot easier to have someone with experience in these matters working for you. Well worth the money. Good luck, and I hope you find what you are looking for.

This how we found my husband's father: we knew his name and where he was from so we did a people search on him (it costs about $7 or $8 for the basic search) and called all the numbers that turned up (and matched the info we had) until we found him. He is coming to meet us in Sept...so that's the best thing you can do. I'm not sure what else you can do, I know there are organizations out there that specialize in things like this....but I don't know who they are...you're local police station or adoption agency may be able to give you more idea. Good luck!
