yes, a hot shower, not too hot to dry out skin or you'll then be itchy, but warm showers do soothe. A bath would work better, you are not standing on your legs but totally relaxed, also add some Epsom Salts, you can find in most stores, add to water, takes out aches and pains.

It can. I find a bath much more relaxing though, cause you can sit down and just let everything go right into the water. But a nice hot shower feels pretty good too and can actually ease the muscle tension I get sometimes in my back (I have a veritbrae that pops out of alignment, which pulls on muscles and makes them very tense, and in order to pop the vertibrae back into place, I need to relax those muscles).

Yes, a hot shower helps to relax the muscles. Soaking in a hot bath can also help.

a hot shower is good i think but i think a hot bath where you sit in there and relax is so much better...you can even buy these granules to put in your bath and it helps soothe and relax you and is for sore muscles and pain in your body...they really do help i think....some days i am just so sore after working and i take a bath in these and they really help...i bought what i have at either walgreens or walmart...so give them a try....i do not know the name of them right off but just look at these stores and i am sure you will find them ...they are kind of gold looking crystals....i would know the name but i gave them to a friend to try and i have not been out to buy anymore

a long hot shower,,,with the stream on the tense muscles for awile...... would do it.
you have to get the heat of the water down under the outside layers of muscles,,,, into the underlying layers,,,,will take more than a few minutes.
is why a bath is better.

More than the shower, a dip in the hot bath tub with some bath salts, aromatic scents and a candle light relaxes not only your body but also your mind. Try it buddy....will feel heavenly!!! Go ahead and pamper your body!
