THANKS TO ALL for confirming my theory that we are a group of reasonable people who are fair on this subject ( THE LIBERALS seem to be a bit confused because they can't seem to see the difference )

My ancestors were immigrants! 1905 they escaped the tyrants in Europe!
Immigrants provide America with our mix of languages, cultures, and religions that used to provide us with strength!
But, some illegals provide lots of trouble, undermine our security and safety. We wantto be a bit selective, and take the good, hardworking folks, NOT the Tuberculosis cult, the terrorists, any anarchists, etc.!
So, wise folks are in favor of protectiong our borders, while permitting an influx of qualified, trained, educated, candidates for citizenship!

To be different and controversial, YES !! How can we continue to allow immigration when it is so politically incorrect, let alone, against the law to use any type of profiling? Therefore, to stop ALL immigration, legal and illegal, is the only solution to stopping terrorist coming into the United States Of America. If we change the term "racial profiling" to "terrorist profiling" could we then palce extra security checks on persons of middle eastern decent? After all, the overwhelming majority of terrorist have been men of middle eastern decent between the ages of 18 and 40.

I would not stop legal immigration, but I would certainly stop the undocumented border jumpers from entering our borders, absolutely.
We need to know who is coming into our country and for what purpose. There needs to be proper immunizations given to these people to prevent the onset of disease in our country. We need to stop the drugs and criminals that enter our country unseen and unknown.
I have no problem with legal immigration. I wouldn't call border jumpers immigrants, they are breaking our laws the minute they cross our borders.

No, but I'd make it a manditory 10 year prison sentence for those caught here illegally. (and listen to the pro immigration folks begin to squeal how unfair life is....)

No I mean think about it if there was no immigration , half of us wouldn't be here. I Know that about 3/4 of my ancestors came frome imigration. Not even native americans can say they have had no imigration in there past. All of mankind imigrated at one point. There is the word migrate in imigarte.

No, only illegal immigration. I have no problem with any race, especially when they are searching for a better life. I just ask that they respect our laws and do it through legal means.

I would not deny anyone the ability to apply for a visa or citizenship if they qualify. This county enjoys so much freedom, I can not blame anyone for wanting to live here.
My great grandfathers were immigrants.
