I believe that it is a real place called hell, the people who do not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who deny the truth

the bible says Hell is a place that is the absense of God. Since God is all good, Hell must be all bad (because there is no good). This, to me, means there is a place.

I don't believe that there is an actual place called Hell, but I'm Buddhist and have long ago realized that we create our own existence by what we do and how we treat others (Karma). In Buddhist mythology there are 10 courts of hell (18 levels), depending on your wrongdoing. Rather interesting...

I definitely have a hard time understanding that if I don't believe that if I don't have the same beliefs as everyone else (Jesus is "my savior") that I'm going to go to "Hell." I actually think it's rather hateful for supposed "loving" Christians threaten those that are different from them with eternal damnation. A little shortsighted if you ask me. How is that "love they neighbor" of you?

yea, some of it is already on earth! I don't think it has anything to do with Jesus or whatever. it's about believing in the truth whatever that is for each person that's their own personal choice. in the end someone will be right. so just pick what you like and pray to GOD that you're right otherwise you'll find true hell and I'm sure it's far worse than being here.

Yes, there is a hell but I don't think we should place this and that person there because we cannot know who ends up there only the Lord does.
We don't know for sure whether it's a place or more of a state of eternal separation from God. Most theilogians say it's a plce because after the final ressurection of the body the damned will also be united with their bodies and bodies take up space so that leads to that it must be a place. And the Bible talks of it as a place.

in eternity all the injustices and evils of this world will be judged. Someday every nation and individual will stand before God, and to those who have ignored or disobeyed Him, He will say, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41).

Those are sobering words, and it would be foolish (as well as dangerous) for us to ignore them. Hell is real, the Bible says—just as real as heaven. No, I don't know exactly what hell will be like—but not one word about it in the Bible would ever make me want to go there. Jesus called it a place of "darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 22:13).

But listen: You don't have to go there! God loves you, and Christ came to open heaven's door for you. Only one thing will keep you out of heaven, and that is your sins. But on the cross Christ took upon Himself our sins and the punishment we deserve. Don't let another day go by without Christ, but by faith give your life to Him and trust Him alone for your salvation.

Jesus spoke more about Hell in his teachings than anybody did..a place of outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, a place of torment. also says where the worm dieth not and the fire is never quenched. people who dont believe are fools.

hell is a state of mind or soul. its where you place yourself when you live a life that is null of purpose or positivism. much of the bible was written as metaphor so that masses of people with very little education could grasp spiritual and social concepts. im not sure why you post such a statement as a question. this belongs on a blog...or better yet, why be a cowardly witness from behind a computer screen for jesus, when you could be out doing good works for your fellow man and bringing the word to the world?
