if you do get a straightner from someone other than an authorized dealer, a salon, chi states in the return policy their warranty will not be honored. If you do have to return the product back to the manufacturer, you must have a paper receipt.

ebay
or at a salon, ask them
some may even have some
or, if you make friends with a hairstylist, you can give them money, and when they go to some convention or w/e it is, they can get one with a big discount.

ebay, they have companies that sell their products on ebay, much cheaper sometimes than buying from your stylist who is going to make her comission off of the product and you get a warranty on the new ones.
