It is okay for the girl to make th efirst move for sure. I am the kind of guy that would love the girl to make the first move because I'm kinda shy.

Yes! I think it is a great idea. Times have changed and A woman making the first move sure makes a life easy and fun to enjoy and it also lets the man know that he is wanted instead of the other way around!!!

its perfectly fine, first impressions are not the indication of how relationships will be but how u click, how u click depends upon how u will be able to connect to him first, bec without it, its simply wishful thinking, so i suggest u do the first move, imply something, or make some simple gestures to make him interested to u, not so frank and direct but subtle ways to make urself look interesting yet not so strong, or loose, then when u finally head to ur date , then thats the time u let him do the moves, mke him work hard to know you, because just like my motto, build and it will come. just dont be so anxious, or be too excited, chill be cool and just be natural... it will find its way

Why not. I try to let the girl i am into make the first move. Because if she feel comfortable enough to do that it helps me to not be shy and all that good stuff...

I dont' think it's wrong. Guys have changed over the years and they have become very wimpy. Girls are much more aggressive than they used to be so it's more accepted. Not a big thing.

Well, I guess it depends...first you gotta get to know him. Then after talking for a while you call him back but not right away...
I would give him my number and tell him to call you back. Suspense is good but not past a week. If he does not call, then call him and meet him for coffee, or a soda. Check it out-see if he's dating anyone. Or if that's toomuch, just suggest you go to a meeting or get on-line about things you have in common--then flirt like crazy and tell him he's cool!

Sometimes there is little choice if the guy is too shy. My first wife did. Turned out though with many others too. You should have a really good clue if they want you .
