I have really curly hair, but it looks really good when straitend. I do try to use flat irons and all the products, but it still takes very long. I heard that you can get it permanently straitend. Where can you get it done? Does it damage your hair a lot?

You can get your hair permanently straightened at almost any salon, but the only problem is it does damage your hair a little, and the texture is a little weird, kind of starchy.

I once read about this treatment called Japanease Hair Straightening. It is really expensive but does less damage to your hair than traditional methods. Otherwise you can go to a salon and have them straighten it. It is really hard on your hair and usually doesn't look the same as you did it with a flat iron due to the use of the chemicals. You are not going to find a permanent solution because your hair is constantly growing and your genetics make you have curly hair. This will only last 4-6 weeks, or until it grows out.

they can do it chemically, but to tell you the truth:
it really damages your hair
you cant do it if your hair is dyed, your hair could fall out from all the damage
if your hair is really curly,it wont work, at least not the first couple times.
Ive tried it twice and it did absolutely nothing to my hair. A waste of ALOT of money.
if you don't already have one, get a chi. its the best out there. it still takes time, but not near as much as the other ones, and it doesn't damage your hair near as much. :]

You can get a perm and your hair will stay straight. You can get a perm in someone's house, a saloon or you can do it yourself. I personally have never done it myself but if you don't want to spend as much money you can. Perms can damage your hair depending on your hair type and what strength you use. The problem with perms is you normally have to keep getting them done unless you cut out the perm otherwise your hair will fall out (at least that's what happened with my friend)

Japanese hair straightening. They process your hair for a couple hours. But, it stays straight for about 2-3 years, so you'll have to get it done again after the 2-3 yrs. It's a bit costly, but if you ask around and ask people about they may be able to refer you to someone.

yuo ca get your hair permenintly straightend at a hair salon. i also have very curly hair, and i was going to get it done a couple months ago. i changed my mind entirely when i heard what it could do to my hair. if you lose hair alot, like when you brush it or when you shampoo it, then you may lose ALOT of hair in the permently straighting. also, you hair will never be the same. it may lose alot of its life because all of the chemicals. i dont reccomend it, but you know, its your choice. glad i cold help!
