You don't want to because you do not believe, and I'm telling you there are very good reasons to believe. Do some unbiased research.

shaz - Everything you just said is because you are created in the image of God, to know things like that. Wow, you just explained, to a degree, the scripture about this! The Bible is amazing.

Of course it is "reasonable"! Nowhere does the Bible advocate checking your brain at the door, and the theme of wisdom (as separate from intelligence) can be found throughout...
Notice that the admonishment is to be innocent in our BEHAVIOUR, but not stupid brain-wise: "Be wise as serpents, yet innocent as doves."
The biblical Christian faith tells us to check out the facts for ourselves and prove it before we put stock in it; just like the Bereans did, and were commended for not just swallowing whole-sale some new religion...
Remember, it says: "Come, let us reason together...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow."
*blessings*

Don't know what Bible you are talking about but I don't need faith in a bible. I am mentally and spirtually evolved enough that I know right from wrong by MYSELF..I don't need a book to tell me how to live because I have grown up.
